Well it’s nice they stayed peaceful

Reasons Occupy isn’t taken seriously. 

They have anger issues. 

You’re damn right they’re angry. Obama has killed thousands of civilians with drone strikes during his administration and you’re complaining about a broken window.

the problem with this sentiment is that it is not ‘thousands’ and never Obama directly, the use of drones in terrorism ‘suppression’ were long before his administration. the problem here for me is not the fact a window has been broken, but the symbolism of mindless destruction against nothing, i doubt the persons who threw this rock took into mind the thought pattern; ‘god i hate how obama authorizes drone strikes to continue in Pakistan im so angry time to destroy the system with a rock’

Of the 337 authorized drone strikes since 2004, only 52 were authorize by Bush. The rest (285) were authorized by Obama. 852 civilians were confirmed dead but the actual number is thought to be much higher since Obama classifies ‘military-aged’ men as militants and not civilians. I hardly consider vandalizing a murderous president’s HQ, ‘mindless destruction’. I don’t consider it justice either, but it’s a start.
